I had the pleasure of a concierge-guided tour of Baha Mar, the Caribbean’s newest luxury resort, last Sunday. Ah-may-zing!!! I truly cannot say enough good things about this resort. The attention to detail is impeccable! Even though the day was rainy and gray, the resort guests were bubbling with excitement all around.
Offering a collection of hotels; the contemporary Grand Hyatt, SLS Baha Mar (the first SLS Resort in the Caribbean, and colonial-style villas of Rosewood; Baha Mar caters to all manner of travelers looking for an immersive, yet luxurious Caribbean retreat.
I could talk about Baha Mar all day, but instead, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The adult-only pool area and private cabanas:
I could see Stinky and Blinky spending a lot of time in the Exploration Center.
I was tickled to see the themed food trucks on the beach. YUM!
This pool area was created to look like Dean’s Blue Hole on Long Island, Bahamas. If you look really closely on the left, you’ll see a guest getting ready to dive into the “blue hole.”
The grotto area behind is a popular spot for relaxing.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. After raving about it to the DH and kids, I’m sure I’ll be back soon… as a guest.
