One of the things I enjoy most about Deluxe Resorts is the variety of dining options, including Table Service dining. Sometimes the mind and/or body craves more than Quick Service. At Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, the two Table Service Options are Ale & Compass, and Yachtman’s Steakhouse.
During our October stay, on the tail end of our 4-night Halloween on the High Seas sailing aboard the Disney Wish, we scored a same-day reservation for Ale & Compass. Like the resort, Ale & Compass stays on theme with New England comfort food and classic seafood dishes. Even the décor is on theme as it has a charming lighthouse feel.

The DH had the New England seafood pie while I enjoyed the Pappardelle Pasta with Chicken. Our culinary adventurous teens opted for…wait for it…cheeseburgers from the Kids Menu. 🤦🏽

The portion sizes were very generous, which left no room for dessert. Though the Mango Torte Spiced Lemon Pound Cake sounded yummy!
Ale & Compass is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even features a continental breakfast buffet.
On particularly busy days, the renovated Ale & Compass Lounge is a nice spot to wait to be seated for your meal.

This sleek nautical nook is a lovely spot for lively libations and savory snacks. There is an abundance of seating, including sofas, bistro tables, high tops, and booth-style seating. The full bar pictured above is tucked away in the very back of the lounge behind a very discreet hallway. Don’t miss it!
If you’re staying in the EPCOT Resort Area, then Ale & Compass Restaurant and Lounge is a perfectly charming dining option. Otherwise, it’s a bit of a trek. Let’s chat about more convenient alternative options that are equally nice.
