I always say festival time is my favorite time at EPCOT. On our recent visit, we enjoyed the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival that runs July – November 19, 2022. While this post is just under the wire and possibly too late for your visit, consider this general information about the festival to use for a future visit.
What is the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival?
An culinary mission to taste your way around the world with authentic global cuisine and beverages, dotted with live music and performances, and the opportunity to purchase exclusive festival merchandise.
The Food
Each of EPCOT’s 11 pavilions, along with a few additional stations, feature food from their respective countries. And it is all so good! Whenever there is a festival on, I usually skip table service reservations in lieu of dining at as many stations as I can.
There is so much more to enjoy! This is just what the DH and I got through.
Have you even attended an EPCOT festival if you didn’t enjoy at least one meal on the top of a trash can?!

Live Music and Performances
In addition to the regularly scheduled performances, there are special performances along with the Eat to the Beat Concert series. The latter features a blend of chart-topping musical acts as well as local Orlando talent. You can see the entire lineup here.
Festival Merchandise
Spirit jerseys and ears are always a fan favorite!
EPCOT Littles
Disney didn’t forget the littles. There are two scavenger hunts for them to participate in: Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit (limited time through 10/31). There is also Green Landing Family Play Zone to help them burn off a little energy.
Florida Blue Medicare Lounge
It was particularly warm on the day the DH and I ventured into EPCOT. We were very happy I preregistered for the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge where we could cool down and hydrate. The lounge is housed in the former Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion. At check-in you’re given one cooling towel per family. Inside is climate-controlled, with a variety of infused waters and teas. While there, we were offered reserved seating for an Eat to the Beat Concert later that evening.
You can apply through the My Disney Experience app (search Florida Blue to be redirected) or by visiting the Florida Blue website. It is free to apply, and the pass is good for the duration of the festival.
Last year the pass was exclusive for Florida Blue members and their guests, but this year it was offered to the general public. Let’s hope this continues next year!
