Festival time is my favorite time at EPCOT! The park comes alive with a plethora of unique experiences. The 2022 festivals are:
- International Festival of the Arts: January 14 – February 21
- International Flower and Garden Festival: March 2 – July 4 {Read about my 2021 visit here.}
- International Food and Wine Festival: dates TBD
- International Festival of the Holidays: dates TBD
Only Walt Disney World can combine food, art, and entertainment into an extraordinary experience known as the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Bestie M and I could not wait to check it out!
Festival cuisine was of utmost importance to us and trumped any dining reservation. I thoroughly enjoyed everything, but the mussels were the solid favorite!

Tomato Soup with Bacon, Apple, and Brie Grilled Cheese

Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with Parsnip Puree, Broccolini, Baby Tomatoes, and Aged Balsamic

Beef Wellington

Pistachio Cake with Cherry Mousse and Morello Cherries

Deconstructed BLT

Deconstructed Apple Pie a la Mode

Spicy Ajiaco Soup and House-made Chorizo and Potato Empanada

Cast Iron-roasted PEI Mussels
This is but a sample. There are so many more wonderful culinary dishes to enjoy.
Entertainment comes in many forms. Family-friendly activities include Artful Photo Ops, Animation Academy, Expression Section: A Paint-by-Number Mural, Kids’ Chalk Art, and the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. So much fun!

Festival merchandise features a unique art-inspired print available as a spirit jersey, mug, tote, and trading pins. The festival markets include Disney Artist Gallery and WonderGround Gallery, visiting galleries, and merchants.

Make sure to spend a little time chatting with the demonstration artists and visiting artists in the galleries. They are such a wealth of information and I have yet to come across one who wasn’t happy to discuss their work.
Of course, while we were visiting EPCOT, we took advantage of a few attractions and shows. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a super cute experience and well worth in Individual Attraction Selection. The Matsuriza Taiko Drummers are back and are always incredible to watch. Finally, we observed major headway on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which opens this summer!
