For our visit, we stayed at the New York Marriott Marquis. Set in the heart of Times Square, it is one of several hotels I recommend for first-timers and return visitors alike looking to stay in Manhattan. The hotel is within walking distance to major attractions like Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Theatre District. It is also within close proximity to classic New York dining options like Carmine’s, Junior’s, and Ellen’s Stardust Diner.
We stayed in a Superior Double Room with a Times Square View.

Recently renovated, the rooms are spacious, clean, and fresh. The chaise is roughly the size of a twin bed, and this is where the teen opted to sleep. And even on wintery days, the view was spectacular day and night. (If you look closely, you’ll see where the New Year’s Eve party platform was being set up.)
The hotel offers all the bells and whistles to make your stay more comfortable, including onsite dining, concierge services, and daily housekeeping which is a rare treat during COVID.
We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here again.
