Friend, if you’re traveling to a new country, make sure you leave a little room in your relaxation schedule to see a little of said country, and visit with it’s people. And if you’re really adventurous, try some local foods.
We were so fortunate that our Hard Rock FAM included a catamaran snorkel tour which took us out to Cabesa de Toro to enjoy Punta Cana by sea. See the amateur snorkeler 2nd from the right in the photo above? That’s me checking out low tip dockers, sea urchins, and cojinuas.
And below, we’re enjoying the camaraderie, salt air, and learning how to dance the Dominican way. How dreamy is the water in these images?!
After snorkeling, we headed a little further out to a sandbar where other boat tours were. Here we tried fresh coconut water and the party continued.
This was such a fun day, fostered lots of friendships, and cemented my love of the Dominican Republic!
Here is a list of available excursions to check out, that cover a range of activities. Save this post and refer to it when needed.
