Sinema Nashville

Friday night, the DH and I met up with friends at Sinema Nashville. Housed in the former historic 1940s Melrose Theatre, the restaurant pays homage to the history of the theatre, it’s Art Deco style, and all of your favorite actors of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Outside, I love that the restaurant either kept or recreated the ticket booth, movie posters, and entry doors. They set the scene for what will be an amazing experience.

Inside, the dining space is intimate and moody, with famous headshots gracing the walls. How many can you name?

I was excited to find a headshot of Sir Sidney Poitier, a Bahamian-American actor.

As for the food, everything was superb! I love that the specialty cocktails had such creative names. With Baby What’s Your Phone #?, you get a whiff of thyme with each sip. I highly recommend it!

I also had the Southern Peach Pound Cake, but forgot to take a photo. 😦

It’s not often that I take photos of restrooms, and then share them on the blog, but this one is totally worth it. Don’t you think?

Could this BE more glamorous?!

All in all it was a lovely evening with good company. The DH and I are already looking forward to our next visit!
