This week, I’m super thankful that we’re working on making our home office a more functional, and lovely space to work. Because I’ve logged some major hours in here over the last few days!
On Tuesday, the CDC announced a new policy that requires all international travelers entering the US to have a negative COVID test, which takes effect January 26, 2021. This includes US citizens who are vacationing outside the US and returning home.
Immediately I began reaching out to my clients, fielding questions about their upcoming trips, compiling a list of resorts where testing is being made available, and obtaining answers for the what if scenarios.
I absolutely believe this is the right thing to do, but realize this will be yet another blow to so many who depend on the travel industry, including myself, as Americans scale back their vacation plans.
For those determined the travel safely, it is more important than ever to partner with a trusted, knowledgeable travel advisor who is up to date on both domestic and global travel. I am that person, your advocate, and don’t ever take for granted the faith my clients put in me.
I’ve got to get back to it, but I want to leave you with a hearty dose of humor:

A little laughter is good for the soul!
