I remember dining at 1900 Park Fare and the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast when the kids were little like it was yesterday. Such sweet memories!
When the restaurant opened with a Wish Makers Enchanted Dining retheme, I was excited to check it out! Change doesn’t always go over well with diehard Disney fans. But in my experience, the updates are always thoughtfully executed. And even Walt reminded us that change is inevitable.
Artistic touches abound at 1900 Park Fare. It is truly a storybook setting.
The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. We went at dinner time to get a taste of New Orleans with Tiana’s Gumbo. But do not fear, the classic favorite strawberry soup remains on the menu.
IMHO character dining is more about the character interaction than the meals. I mean if you want a truly scrumptious dining experience, I’d recommend a restaurant like Tiffins or California Grill which doesn’t have a character in sight. But the meal at 1900 Park Fare was extremely enjoyable.
As were the character interactions! Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Princess Tiana make their appearance throughout the meal. The restaurant is the perfect size for each party to get meaningful time with their favorite wish maker.
Turns out Aladdin doesn’t care for country music either, ha! And I may be biased since she is my favorite princess, but interactions with Princess Tiana are always so special. Don’t you just love her bayou outfit?! I could not help but notice how many littles sent wishes to her.
This was an all around fantastic dining experience, and I can’t wait to go back!
