DIY Jack Skellington Pumpkin

On the heels of our Fall Break visit to Walt Disney World, I’m sharing the easiest DIY Jack Skellington pumpkin ever. Here’s how to achieve the same look.

Materials

  • Pumpkin (I wish I had a before picture of the pumpkin I thrifted. It was a hodgepodge of fall-colored leaves.)
  • Pencil
  • Paints (white, black, brown, gold; chalk paint covers best)
  • Paint brushes

Steps

Paint the pumpkin white and the stem brown with gold highlights.

Trace Jack’s face with a pencil.

Paint the details with a flat black paint.

Voila! Couldn’t be easier.

And the best part, as The Nightmare Before Christmas is both a Halloween and Christmas movie (prove me wrong), this can stay up from October – December. Score!
