On the heels of our Fall Break visit to Walt Disney World, I’m sharing the easiest DIY Jack Skellington pumpkin ever. Here’s how to achieve the same look.
Materials
- Pumpkin (I wish I had a before picture of the pumpkin I thrifted. It was a hodgepodge of fall-colored leaves.)
- Pencil
- Paints (white, black, brown, gold; chalk paint covers best)
- Paint brushes
Steps
Paint the pumpkin white and the stem brown with gold highlights.

Trace Jack’s face with a pencil.

Paint the details with a flat black paint.

Voila! Couldn’t be easier.
And the best part, as The Nightmare Before Christmas is both a Halloween and Christmas movie (prove me wrong), this can stay up from October – December. Score!
