Club Med: Sun and Ski Resorts

Over the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to experience Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, and Club Med Québec-Charlevoix. Both are newer properties in the Club Med portfolio. Club Med is a French brand, well-known throughout Europe, operating nearly 70 resorts worldwide. Approximately 2/3 of these are beach resorts (sun), and the other 1/3 are mountain resorts (ski). The large majority of guests are European and Canadian, but the American market is growing.

Club Med is an all-inclusive brand. This is pretty common for many Caribbean and Mexico resorts, but especially appealing for ski vacations. American ski tourists know that lessons and lift tickets are typically add-ons. At Club Med, they are included. Let’s recap both stays to give you a feel for the brand’s sun and ski resorts.
