Just before the school year kicked off, the FamTrav son and I slipped away to Walt Disney World for one last hurrah of the summer. Our arrival-day tradition is an afternoon at Disney Springs for shopping, pin trading, and dinner. This time, we decided to shake things up and try Splitsville Luxury Lanes for the first time.
Step back into the Golden Age of Bowling at Splitsville, a stylish two-story venue where retro glam meets modern fun. Enjoy 10-pin bowling, billiards, and vibrant bars alongside live music, flat-screen TVs at every turn, and a contemporary menu full of eclectic flavors.

I was pleasantly surprised by our meal. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We shared pot stickers and chicken-fried rice. (We’d been snacking since lunch.)

Perhaps the most enjoyable part of this experience was the free-flowing conversation. If you have teenagers, I’m sure you’ll agree that engaging a 17 year-old is no easy feat! But bowling made it easy. đŸ™‚
Even during peak season, I find dining reservations are readily available. Advanced reservations for bowling are recommended, so if you walk up, there may be a short wait.
I could see this becoming part of our arrival day tradition.
