This past spring, Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently gave us the cutest, family-style buffet dining experience we didn’t even know we needed. Fan of the Toy Story franchise? Want to be one of Andy’s honorary toys while you rustle up some grub? Then it’s time to head over to Roundup Rodeo BBQ!
Shrink to the size of toys while being surrounded by Andy’s rodeo at play. Larger than life displays include Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull toy, and a scene where Bo Peep and her sheep are posed to perform in the rodeo. Periodically Andy will come near, causing the entire restaurant to freeze. See how long you can go without blinking. Ha!
The restaurant offers a prix fixe menu. If you’re a fan of heaping portions of smoked ribs, beef brisket, pork sausages, and BBQ chicken, this is ideal. But if you have picky eaters, this may not be the best investment for you (unless this is more about the experience). Wait until they’re a little older with heartier appetites.
Since its opening, Roundup Rodeo BBQ has been a popular choice for families. Advanced Dining Reservations are required. Just make sure Andy doesn’t catch you and the other toys playing around!
My recommendation is to book this for dinner and go hungry. The restaurant doesn’t make to go boxes, so keep that in mind.
Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience!
